3D Printed Fairey Albacore (1:350)
Conceived as a replacement for the ageing Fairey Swordfish, the Albacore (popularly known as the "Applecore) served with the Swordfish and was retired before it, being replaced by the Fairey Barracuda and Grumman Avenger monoplane torpedo bombers. Despite this, the Albacore served the Royal Navy during a critical period of World War II.
A new 3D printed 'model' of the US Marine's earliest used landing craft of the Second World War. Essentially a larger version of the shallow draft Eureka boat designed to operate in swamps by Andrew Higgins before the war, they were made of plywood with armored bulkheads added to offer some protection for the troops on board.
