White Ensign Models is putting our PE 3585 for the Trumpeter 1/350 USS North Carolina (BB-55) into production.

OK folks, Peter "Mad Pete" Hall is just wrapping up the last details and putting the instructions together. The artwork will go off for etching in the next day or so. Here's a peek at the 2-sheet set that will comprise PE 3585 (see images at the side)

The radars in the set will allow the ship to be accurately depicted at any point in her service life.

Price of the set will be £34.00 (UK/EU customers add VAT), and shipping is, as usual, post-free worldwide.

Note that Trumpeter did not include gun shields for the kit's Oerlikons or Bofors. These are available, along with other necessary details, in our PE 3555, USN Anti-Aircraft Weapons and Fittings, priced at £7.62.
