For a follow up to an early September report, slated to be released at the end of the year with White Ensign's HMS Vigilant (R93) kit, the HMS Scorpian (G72) is readying to leave the drydock.
HMS Scorpion was an S class destroyer of the Royal Navy. Initially she was to be named Sentinel, but this was changed following the loss of the Dragonfly-class river gunboat Scorpion in the Bangka Strait in February 1942. She served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War, mostly in the Arctic Ocean, and fought in the Battle of North Cape.
Though price has not yet been determined, both the Scorpian and the Vigilant are available for preorder now.
White Ensign reports that PE sets for both kits are also in the works.
