You will recall my hot news item from the 22nd of June 2009 in relation to pending projects from Gold Medal Models .

Well the team at Gold Medal Models have released some more information on their impending 1/350th WW2 Gearing Class DestroyerPhotoetch set .

This set is expected to be will available in early August however the retail price has yet to be advised.

We understand that this set is primarily designed for the Dragon 1/350 scale kit of the WW2 U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gearing (DD-710) and its sisterships.

We also understand that a number of alternate fittings such as depth charge tracks and other parts are supplied and you will have some spare parts left over when your Gearing project is finally complete.
