Building on their ever growing range of 1/350th naval upgrade sets Lion Roar have announced their impending release of their 1/350th WWII IJN Mogami update set.

If you like IJN kitset topics and you love to add detail then this upgrade set maybe just what you are looking for.

This set is primarily designed to upgrade the recently released Tamiya Mogami1/350th kitset.

We understand that the railings shown will be replaced by etched stainless steel.

It is expected that this kit will be shortly and at a retail price yet to be confirmed.

We will of course update you as and when more information comes to hand.

WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I guess I am excited to see this set. Just a little! But seriously, that will really make that kit really sharp. Thanks Sean.

I received my weekly email from Dragon USA. They have this set listed as a per-order. $104 if I remember correctly. I need to find a couple yards to rake.

That really is a stupendous set. A little pricey, but you gt so much. Looking at the kit though, I really don't see that much that needs replacing by brass. i got the special Lionroar aviation deck rails and turnstiles and I have a set of generic Lionroar railings. I also picked up a set from Tom's that has three different sets of cranes and catapaults that will cover the Mogami, Takao, and Myoko. But hey if I didn't already have those, I would certainly get this set.

This looks like a nice set even though I not into Jap ships ( too over priced) hopefully lionroar or WEM will come out with sets for the German ships coming out.

So, if you dont have enough "generic" IJN PE stuff laying around, this is *the* set to get? I will start scanning Lucky model web site to see when it pops out on sale, it is now listed at 78$ USD and free shipping (to USA).
