For those looking to “up gun” their 1/144th scale Fletcher kitsets White Ensign Models have announced that they will be releasing a WEM 1/144 USN Quad 40mm Bofors set We understand that the set reference is PE 14411 and pre orders are currently being taken.

In the development news section of the update we understand that White Ensign Models Mr. Peter Hall is in the finishing stages in the design of for 2 new sets of ultrafine railings for those of you who want the best in scale railings. PE 35144 will provide that in 1/350th scale, and PE 796 will do for those of you working in 1/700th.

We also understand that both these sets should be going to the photoetchers shortly and should be with available in 3 - 4 weeks.
