The 2010 USA IPMS Nationals is on the immediate horizon and our mate Pavel Vacata, owner/operator of Admiralty Model Works has announced a new marketing and release strategy to coincide with this event.

In essence Admiralty Model Works 2010 strategy is that modellers who are able to attend the 2010 USA IPMS Nationals will get to see the new items there and everyone else who cannot will need to be patient.

This year Admiralty Model Works will make the kits available through the website before the 2010 USA IPMS Nationals and so those who order early will receive them approximately the same time as those going to the 2010 USA IPMS Nationals.

So, all the items will be on the website at www.Admiraltymodel works.com for ordering from Friday 30th of July, 2010. It is expected that the busy Staff at Admiralty Model Works will be processing orders while Mr. Pavel Vacata is attending the 2010 USA IPMS Nationals.

Additional information: This is a full hulled resin kit with photo-etch and brass periscopes and masts. The Decal sheet has the markings for the Museum Boats “Scorpion” in Long Beach and the “Cobra” as well as the Polish ships “Dzik” and “Wilk” together with the flags for all the navy’s that used the Foxtrot.

Gleaves Class Destroyer Square Bridge Accessory Set

Additional information: This item is a square bridge designed to fit the 1/350th Dragon USS Buchanan kit to make it into the last 20 Gleaves variants that had "square" bridges.
This accessory set has resin parts and photo-etch. The items covered include search lights, signal lights, fighting lights and details in both resin and Photo-etch which includes the lookout seats and binoculars.

For those of you who are 1/700th scale submariners, Admiralty Model Works has announced both the Project 641 Foxtrot and HMS Astute will be available in 1/700th scale very soon.

We understand that both patterns are complete and Admiralty Model Works are just doing the final touches.

At present Admiralty Model Works are also awaiting the Photo-etch, but they will be taking pre orders for the Foxtrot, MSRP will be US$35.00.

Mr. Pavel Vacata, the owner/operator of Admiralty Model Works has also extended a very warm invitation to all modelers that if you are attending the IPMS Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona during August, please stop by the table to chat to him.
