Hi Matt,
The second wave were late starting, by the time they landed the tide had come right in, there are pics of the LCAs beached right up to the shoreline. This created a further problem as the defences were hidden by the tide, not in the original plan at all. The strong curent also swept the boats sideways against the shore.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the info. I never enter any of the campaigns because I would never get anything finished in time and you could say I'm running my own lol, lol.
I've been learning a lot about figures too
Unfortunatley still a long way to go.
Bike is finished and I'm working on the last RM for the LCM to go with it. I'll post some pics when he's a bit more presentable lol, lol.
Cheers

Hi Foks,
Some more porgress on the biker, still some work to do on the figure, apologioes I thought the light was stronger so pics are a bit dull. His rope needs painted and a helmet added to his kit, possible some additional ammo across his chest and his bayonet added.

This is the RE mine clearing team. Only real problem here is getting rid of the shine from the arm decals I used. I've equipted them with the long bayonet and only a small amount of kit. Their rifles will be stacked in appropriate location when the time comes and I'm thinking of having each diggger with a white tape trailing behind them when the time comes.

Cheers

Hi Kenny,
Thanks, much appreciated. This part of the build is drawing to a close, with the exception of a few Sailors, not yet aquired, it's on to some armour next, a bit more solid ground I hope lol, lol.

Hi Alan
I like the bike and the mine clearing team
I can't notice any shining of the badges of the MC team? Have you solved it already?
A note on the bike:
some "cargo" on it? (helmet, backpack, something?) The chap that is holding it, is too carried and the bicycle looks kind of naked...
just a though
(Alan says: Oh no!! Here comes this &/%$&/%$ guy again with more "just a thought!")
Cheers mate

LABLES
Thoughts or comments.
Hi Guys, a member over on Armorama rasied the point that he thought the lables on the crates look out of place, any thoughts.
Came up with a good point about hanging the firebucj bucket, which I've done on the side of the wheelhouse from the life preserver hook.
Thanks
Al

Alan,
I think the labels on your crates look fine. Maybe rough them up some, but other than that they look like they belong.

Hi kenny,
Thanks, lacking any kind of stencil decals to suit I thought they would be OK and help break up the wood a bit.

Hi Guys,
A fellow member over on the LEM kindly did this pic for me and I thought it looked pretty good so I'll post it here.
Still room for B & W

Not sure how much interest there will be in the carrrier as it's most certainly not a boat but here are a few progress pics of the vehicle for the LCM

Cheers

Hi Bruce,
Yip arms are on and he's fitted into the vehicle. I'll be moving onto the next stage soon adding the wading gear.
The 2 sailors form Wee Friends shipped in today so I might get to them at the weekend also, castings look grand so I shall see how they turn out.
I see the B & W picture went down a storm lol, lol
Cheers
