Great work! A great tribute to what was a significant ship in the Second World War and to all the men who sailed on the Flower Class Corvettes!

:) Yes Jan, I understand, and I probably will never say it is compl... well until I do a few more things anyway. But they can wait until I find the bits I need.

Anyone know how long the oars were for these Corvettes with 16 foot boats?

Well Warren, I was going to post this for inspiration, But I see you're nearly com......

It's by an Irish fellow that's retired to Malaysia. I saw it at the Malaysian Scale Hobby Show in Penang.

BTW, what part of Australia is "South Australia"? I met a couple from New South Wales IPMS, we were talking about the Flower Class and I couldn't tell them where you were from...

It is the state in the middle at the bottom..

I live in Virginia which is north of Adelaide.

That case looks awesome. I will be taking some pictures outside to take advantage of the light, but not today as it is raining, windy and cold.. feels just like the Arctic Ocean out there!

Most of the models at this show aew in cases. Somebody must have a good business selling them.

As for geography looks like not nearly close.

Australia is a very big place Mark. Sydney is about 1300km from Adelaide.

I reckon you should pick up a nice new 1/72 Airfix coastal command Whitworth Whitley or Bristol Beaufighter to display with the Snowberry

That has turned out to be Fantastic!....she looks really good.

I would attempt one but I lack space for this scale...I guess I
will wait for the 1:144 scale version which should be arriving
soon in Canada....long overdue!

Again, super job on that corvette with all the PE you added...

Move along, nothing to see here..

If I didn't already have almost 900 kits in the stash I might just do that Russell.

And wingy things seem to take up a dis-proportionately large amount of space compared with ships.Maybe if I find one on special I might pull the trigger and get one.

Once I get around to scratch building some falls for the dinghys, and find out the length of the oars I will be able to use the 'c' word...

Hi Warren, I have been following your build with great interest as I have the 1/72 scale Flower Class Corvette (In the Matchbox carton) and all of David Parkins' aftermarket accessories (not cheap). I got sidetracked with life for a while and just came back to your thread. I can no longer see most of the pictures. They are replaced with some kind of message from Photobucket about upgrading to third party hosting. What is this all about? How can I see all of your excellent and inspirational work? Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jack.

Unfortunately PB has decided it won't allow you to host your photos there if they are being used on another site unless you pay them money. I don't make any money out of showing these photos on this site so PB can shove it up their greedy butts basically. I have all my photos here and can send you some if you want. All I need is an email address as it would be too big a job to re-post them in this thread.

Don't forget to send me a PM with your email address so everyone can't see it. There are many unscrupulous people out there who would use your email if they could get it.

Any help you need give me a yell.
