Si,

that's one stunning build of yours. Absolutely awesome!

Cheers
Jan

Thank You Jan,

High praise indeed.

This is turning into quite a project, the base is going to the tricky bit.

I did manage to get a very small amount done last weekend, which I haven't had time to post yet.

Always appreciate you looking in.

cheers

Si - concur with everyone's comments - amazing build. Really like the detail you ahve added to the bridge!!

Dave

Thanks you Dave,

To me a bit of detail on the bridge adds that bit of extra depth, bit like the cockpit of an aircraft.

Cheers

Overview of the build so far.

What did that poor ship ever do to you, you barbarian

She is looking beat up and battered so excellent work!!

Not the ship mate, the kit, the sheer on the bow is too flat. Seriously I was doing some research on the Naval actions of the Norwegian Campaign and I found the photograph of the Eskimo alongside the jetty with her bow missing, thought that just had to be done.

Cheers

A little progress last weekend.

To get the right boats, the whaler and the motor boat from Black cat.

From the same source (Because I like the pompom so much) the quad 0.5", compared to the kit parts.

The two boats, TT's and quad 0.5" base coated.

detail paint added to the weapons.

TT's fitted.

And the quad 0.5s

More soon.

Cheers

Si

Si,

I would never have guess those were Pom Poms that came in the kit when you compare them to an after market item. Good choice to replace them.

I know she is a bit of a dog. I have HMS Zulu in the stash and the boats and small weapons are all just nasty. I am enjoying you using the black cat stuff, lets me see them properly.

Hi Mark,

The Black cat stuff is really excellent, the resin is slightly flexible, not like handling some resin parts, and the quality is rea;;y fine.

They are Russ, and in packs of 12, for the price of less than eight of the multi part jobs, look more in scale too.

Hi Rory,

The more of Black Cat's gear I use, the more impressed with it I become. It is straight forward to use, and well detailed.

Thanks for looking in.

Cheers

Appreciate you looking in mate.

Cheers
