NEWS in from John Snyder, of White Ensign Models, fixing the price on their upcoming A/M newbies in 1/350 scale!
John writes:

"We have finally got a price quote from our caster, allowing us to fix the retail
prices of these parts:



Pro 3508, 1/350 4-barrel Pom-Poms x 3, 4.64 Pounds;

Pro 3509, 1/350 8-barrel Pom-Poms x 3, 5.35 Pounds;

Pro 3510, 1/350 Hood 15" Turrets x 4, 8.47 Pounds;

Pro 3514, 1/350 USN Mk 38 25mm Chain Gun x 2, 1.95 Pounds;

Pro 3515, 1/350 Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boats x 2, 1.95 Pounds;

Pro 3516, 1/350 RN 5.5" BL Mk I on Mk II Mount x 4, 5.01 Pounds.


All prices are ex-VAT, so UK/EU customers add VAT.


The pom-poms come with their own dedicated PE. The Hood turrets were
patterned by Evert-Jan Foeth, the ultimate Hood afficianado. And those 5.5"
mounts are for those of you who, using GMM's PE set, want to backdate your
Hood!

some of those prices will set you back abit. You would really have to0 love the Hood. So much so that you woud be willing to pay an addition $100 or so on a $150 kit to fix it up. Think I'll wait for a half price sale when Hobby Lobby eventually gets one in and buy a GMM brass set and the Trumpeter barrel set.
