The original Italeri PT-596 is a beautiful model, I have to get around to building it myself one of these days. The Italeri PT-109 I am not too sure about, It is a reworked re-pop of the 596 as far as I can tell and the late war version is more sexy even if JFK did scoot around the Pacific on the 109. Just my 2 cents though and you got them for nice prices Warren so congrats on that.

That is a lot of cash for a small ship...............
A bit like Mig's resin Soviet patrolboat, I forget the name here, ( nice little ship with a T-34 turret fitted on it). That was very expensive too.

So, I had look for a photo but here it is:
I will be providing air cover during secret testing of the Vospers. Here is Wing Commander Cattermole of Hornet Squadron in his "Spitsfire". The kill marks show he downed several Germans and also his wingman after a sad incident in which he mistook him for a German after an early breakfast at the "Rogered Rabbit"...............

Got to admit I'd love a Soviet G5 but not at $300.

I would like to see you finish that build Daniel but I think that would be stretching the "Channel Adversaries" theme a little bit too much
My XXIII has arrived at Beijing on the 23rd so it should arrive in Holland this week. Al and Gotrek's build along with the material you sent have me very interested in this Mega-Midget submarine build
Cheers,
Julian

With a name like Moscatelli he should be sticking with Italian craft..
But seriously the Russian craft had nothing to do with the Channel so please continue with the S-100. Or are you afraid you have too much competition here, Swinehund Hun?

Somebody (I believe it was Masterbox) had announced that they were going to release three versions of that Russian MTB. Don't know what happened but they haven't materialized yet. Still hoping though.
Al Sorry just scrolled further down and realized this was old news.Oh Well.

Nice progress Daniel, Eduard have added some nice details with their set. The triangle screw plates for the stanchions will certainly improve the ships looks and I see they included the torpedo tube inspection hatches too, (I scratch built mine and put them on sideways by accident

Hi Al, I think a lot of people are waaiting for the Masterbox offering but like a lot of things in this World it's still vapourware. I have been studying your XXIII build this weekend, (and Gotrek's build too), as I finally took the plunge and ordered one fron China. Should be arriving this coming week.
