Well I am DONE!
I got in too much of a hurry, skipped ahead of myself and I ran into some alignment issues on applying the sections of the massive decal on the top of the saucer. I applied every other piece on one night and the sections in between the next night. I should have waited until I had more time and applied all sections at the same time. Oh well, it looks okay from a distance, so I will keep it on the shelf.
I also applied some paint to where the decals ripped, going for a singed look like she took some hits but nothing penetrated her hull.

Still a bit of work to do on the cockpit, had to add some small tabs on the back to block the open area, and I have been working on other parts of the plane as well.
Cheers Rob.

More painting done.
Cheers Rob.

Well...
Right after this post, I had put the parts on a shelf to work on something else only to have the parts fall onto the floor

seams on both intakes cracked and the nose popped open with a resin part coming out.
Ah, more work.

Getting there.
After a couple of clear coats I took the masks off, I saved the 4 edge pieces as I will have to reuse them to flatten the upper coat after decals.
Cheers Rob.
