Well, you've been waiting patiently (OK, mostly patiently) for Mad Peter Hall to finish his handiwork. We're happy to announce that he's wrapped it up, and the set is being etched right now. The price will be a bit higher than anticipated, because he's gone right over the top with this one!

Tamiya has re-issued the Japanese Light Cruiser Kumano in 1:700 waterline form. I am unsure of wether this is an exact re-issue or has been re-tooled in any way. The old kit number was 31313 and the new number is 31344.
Pit-Road has been on a roll of late and has released many new warship kits for ship builders to salivate over. The folks at Hobby-Link Japan are reporting on a new USS Arizona (BB39) kit. You can read that story here. And there are several other kits of note.
Ever wanted to re-create Doolittle's raid? Well Trumpeter is giving you your chance to fill the flight-deck of the CV-8 Hornet with B-25's and all in 1:350 scale! They also have a few kits that will please Gulf War era builders.
The USS Gettysburg (CG 64) entered service with the US Navy in 1993, as part of the Ticonderoga class. This kit features highly detailed radar towers and antennas, full deck detail, helicopters, boats and armament. The kit measures 18 3/4" long and is recommended for modelers age 10 and older. The kit is widely available as of this report.
