That skylight looks amazing Warren!
You see a great amount of work into that and that has paid off. I also am looking forward to the unwrapped hull.

Well I have finished dinner and here are the pictures.

Sorry they are so far away but my lens can't get it all in..

Bit of touching up and I can mask the whole lot up again to stop the paint getting damaged.

Cheers

Thanks Dave. It should speed up a little now as paint shouldn't take so long to dry if I am using Tamiya or Gunze.

Hi Sean.

It is a very interesting scheme that's for sure. The rest is going to be a bit more difficult sue to a perceived lack of information at the moment re the colour scheme.

But I will struggle through..

Great work.
What varnishes are you planning to use on the paintwork?

I don't think I will use any varnishes Colin, but I will probably be using either Lifecolor or White Ensign paint on these deck items.. if I can find good colour callouts!

Cheers mate

Now we have come from scent removers to the outhouse business - maybe it all makes sense at last

Great work!

WARNING!! LAME ATTEMPTS OF HUMOUR FOLLOW!!

Greetings everyone.

Didn't get a lot done today. First up I finished one of my hatches, the last one I needed for the deck. Then I decided to remove the masking tape from my deck and discovered a few problems..

And then as more came off..

Oops.. but a bit of touch up here and there and it is all good.

Then I discovered some of my etch had abandoned ship the scurvy dog..

I retrieved my masking tape from the bin and went through it carefully and found this..

Sneaky bit of etch!! I returned it to its place in life..

I also gave it a stern talking too..

Then I went to put the top back on my tin of paint but couldn't find it anywhere. I looked and looked.. my Wife even helped for a bit.. But I couldn't find it and put some masking tape on the top of the tin to stop it drying out...

Then I had a brain wave and sure enough I found where the gnomes had put it!

They sure are getting cunning hiding stuff..

Cheers for now

Seems to be a never ending cycle Colin. I still have to touch up the hull after painting the anti-foul red.. or as someone suggested at work, maybe I will just weather the s%^t out of it.. nah!

Cheers Colin

Greetings Everyone.

I got the decks glued to the aft part of the ship..

These sort of things seem to take forever. I had to remove numerous bracing struts as well to fit the decks.

When I went on my Murray River cruise a few weekends ago this passed us..

That would be good to model... and there are many others on the river...

Cheers
