Thank you Gunny, it was one of my first attempts at a ship and looks a bit primitive to me now but it was a good exercise to learn from.
Thanks again

Mine is almost done. Still a bit of the fiddly bits to deal with and then to rig her. I tried an old trick for the framing on the gun turrets that I learned long ago. I cut a piece of Tamiya masking tape to length, put it on a small sheet of glass, then painted it the appropriate color. Speed dried it with a hair dryer, then cut small strips to apply over the molded on framing. Since the Tamiya tape is so sticky, it isn't coming off without a fight, and even if it does later, its a simple fix to just cut, paint and add some more.

After doing this one, I'm looking forward to doing some more in the future. A fun build, with no major issues other than some simple missing pieces which I was able to fab from some sheet platic. More pics to follow upon completion. Thanks, "Q"

and here is what it looked like a couple weeks back....

I finally am able to post pictures of my finished Barchino. It took a bit to bet it done. My time at my workbench is limited these days.

I'm having difficulty with the photos. I will straighten it out later today. Sorry.

Very nice, Q!
Got a question and request for ya...if you snap me about 15 or 20 different images of the model, angle shots, close-ups, etc., zip 'em up in an e-mail and send 'em to me, I would like to make an "On Display" feature of your model, mate!
Whaddaya say?
Cheers,

After hereing about the extention I have dug out the old revell PT boat that has been sitting at the back of the cuboard.to see if I can get it finnished before the deadline. Got the hole weekend off for a change so I,ve went for it full throttle and here is what i,am up to at the minute.
Like I said an old kit nearly as old as me?? this is an OOB build no fancy add on,s lots of filling and sanding but getting there.
Time to start the paint job

The box art has it as green but the paint instructions have it as grey soo what is the best colour to paint these craft.

Hi
You should be ok with a sea grey colour. for early war schemes & then a green for the later stages of the war.
