Thanks Daniel,
a Riesling is a German White wine. Temperature in Holland was around 20 degrees centigrade yesterday so an excellent moment to try the Riesling. It was good
Julian
When you have finished with the low -grade German wines you should try excellent Australian wines.

You may be right, I may be crazy.

Already discovered the great wines of OZ and New Zealand. My favourite is the 2012 "Randy Roo" Pinot Noir from the "BungaBoo Dunny Estate".
Have to disagree to the low-grade classification of German wines though. The days of the cheap, sweet, headache inducing German supermarket plonk are (luckily) long gone.
Cheers,(literally),

Brilliant Andrew, made my evening with the "an appellation controlé for those keen on regurgitation"
Loved it,

I am having some doubts about the wooden deck I fitted to the big B. It is bubbling up in places. Does it help to soften up the glue using a hair dryer and then pressing it down again or will I get better results with a syringe an CA glue?
This is what I was rather afraid of BTW.
Cheers,
Julian

In between skimming and topping up the pond, working in the garden and watching the F1GP of Bahrain I also managed to put in some work on the Bismark:

Holy (expletive deleted), Batman! That Arado is amazing, and the ship doesn't look too shabby either.

You know how I absolutely hate saying you are right Warren but in this case there is an exceedingly small chance that I might have to say "you were right Warren"

The update is taking a little longer than I had anticipated this time. I am starting up the rigging on the forward superstructure and the signals deck on top of the main hangar.
I hope to have some pictures on-line tomorrow.
Cheers,
Julian

May 5th update:
First of all thank you Russell, after roughly 6 months into the build the Lady is starting to look good
I have been working on the signals station and forward gun director tower, which has been quite a challenge sneezing my head off with hay fever, ( looking like a refugee from a zombie movie: red watery eyes and runny nose

).

I have also started constructing the foldable bridge wings, nice photo etch to work with:

My boat set and mast should arrive from the UK this week, waiting patiently for those extras.
All for now,
cheers,
Julian
