The review of the top drawings Bismarck has been posted but I can't get it to open. were you able to read the review or did you get a "not allowed to edit " message?
cheers,
Julian

No problem Andy, nicely detailed cockpit, wingfold pieces, complete set of wing support struts and in colour too.
No glass cockpit, just a PE frame which suits me fine I must say.
In retrospect I should have probably bought the DX set straight off, great stuff to work with.
cheers,
Julian

May 9th update:
I have fitted the aft gun director mast, have spent a lot of time on the bridge wings and have started washing and weathering, oh yes, added to storage reels to the forward superstructure. All in all great fun :

Amazing amount of detail that Trumpeter and several after-market companies have supplied. I am quite chuffed with the result so far

Cheers,
Julian

Hi Daniel, yes, this where the nasty little pollens gather together and launch their offensive on my nasal passages

Mate? now let me see, is that the South American equivalent to space-cake? Drunk from something like this:

Yes, the table next my pond would be a great place to drink mate My daughter-in-law brought this back from Buenos Aires, so I know the secret of mate

Well, the Argentinians tell everone they invented Mate but they also call the Falklands the Malvinas I think maybe Argentinians have a good imagination
I recieved the masts and the boat Mk.1 detail sets, brilliant details and beautiful PE to work with
I have also ordered the Italeri 1/35 PT boat conversion set. I can at last build my Vosper MTB with a 20mm Oerlikon on its focsle deck I will also add 4 Lewis guns on the waist torpedo tubes. Firsst I finish the big "B" though

G;Day Julian.

I am afraid I am about to email the place I bought my MK1 set from and request a refund.. That is three parcels that have not arrived now and I think there may be a large problem at the UK end of the supply chain.

Your Bismarck replica is looking excellent Julian. I knew you would see sense re the DX update set in the end.

Best of luck with the rest of the build Julian,
Cheers

Okido, I'll say it.......................Oh dear, (takes big breath), 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.................Ahum, "Warren you were right about buying the Mk.1 DX set"
Well you were, so that was a great tip you sent.
Sorry to hear about the problems with dispatch of your orders.
Who is the guilty party in this case? I really have never had an internet store default on delivery, they usually get crucified if they do, which does not aid a long lifespan.
cheers,
Julian

Now I am not saying it is all their fault but other parcels I have ordered from the UL lately have had no problems getting here. I will PM you the name of the guilty party as it may not be their fault and he has been very helpful price-wise with many items.
Isn't it amazing how one day you can eat basically whatever you want to eat with no problem, then something happens to your digestive tract and you can't eat half the stuff you used to be able to eat.
BTW, you look to have a decent size backyard Mr Sallows. I think that is a very valuable thing nowadays..
Cheers again,
Warren

Go for Asian foods, light stuff, Japanese sushi etc.
Seems to be a lot more "innard friendly " than English and Dutch food. You live in the Mecca of fusion cooking Warren, I would just about give an arm to take a look around in culinary Oz
The back yard is beautiful but the pollen is killing me
I would have thought that CA accelerator or paint fumes would have me kicking the bucket but no, Mother nature is doing here best to terminate me
Cheers mate,
Julian

Very good Julian. Already you have us used.... Congratulations!!

On May 27 the Admiral Lutjens try to send the diary of War of the BismarcK to France . for discounted his end ... and that the diary was using as experience. (I think of everything what does not have to be done jejeje) .... I try for 2 times to mend one of the Arado and in two times it was impossible!!! These catapults Julian were breakdowns and were barred to half a displacement. The Arado was finally a wire drawing to the waters and end sinking as omen of what would come .........

Regards Daniel
