Just don't sail over your towline, Cap'n. And keep a weather-eye on the strawberries!

Commiserations Mr Sallows..
One of the hazards with such a big model...
It will all be better after a few soothing ales.
Cheers mate

Thanks Warren,
Can't even kick the dog or the kids
So bloody stupid of myself. I think I can fix it though
Think I'll take up the hint on a drop of the hard stuff and see tomorrow what miracles I can perform.

You're not alone Julian, when it comes to inflicting 'battle damage' during, or after, a build, I'm my own worst enemy.

Thanks Al,
I have completely trashed one of the bridge wings and one radar antenna along with some collateral damage.
Back to the drawing board.

If you can wait a little bit I should at least have a spare set of wings when/if I ever get the stuff I have ordered.
Cheers

Working on it Russell,
Luckily the superstructure isn't glued together yet so I have seperate modules. Also having bought two additional sets of PE I have a selection of bridge wings and 5 radar scanners left spare. I think I can pull out of this with minimal lasting damage to the build.
Cheers mate and thanks,
Julian

No, not giving up Daniel, think I can solve this. Looking at your S-100 engineroom: I think the captain said "fire the engineer", not "Burn the engineer"
Mrs. Moscatelli must have been very pleased with you

Nice one Warren,
I downloaded the instruction sheets, (forget where actually

). The Pontos set has some very interesting differences to the Mk.1 set. Be nice to see the differences when building.
cheers,
Julian
Should be back underway with the build quite soon. Damage control is working out nicely.

After backing my chair into the bridge I have also managed to drop the Admirals bridge section and a hangar. The positive part is that I have now restored the big "B" to her pre-accident look and am back underway again. I'll try and get some photos up this week.
cheers,

Good to hear Julian.
I was going through my stash of PE stuff from LionRoar and Flyhawk yesterday and am not sure when my Bismarck will see the light of day.
The problem with having a big stash I am afraid.
Cheers

Thanks mate,
I am at the moment waiting for my Griffon/Vosper PE to leave Beijing airport, ( the wonders of mail tracking). I am extremely curious how this rather gorgeous looking set of PE will be in reality,
