Just don't sail over your towline, Cap'n. And keep a weather-eye on the strawberries! Al

Keel the haul and kerfuffel the main brace, Arrr JIm lad, That I will me beauty

Cheers Al,
Julian

I won't even mention the Old Yellow stain blues or the key collection. A great book by a great author, ( Herman Wouk), and a magnificent movie with a stellar performance by Bogie as captain Queeg. This very nicely betrays my reading habbits and my age

Funny, I don't remember Long John Silver being aboard the 'Caine'. Guess I'll have to watch it again. Al

No update this weekend I am afraid. I managed to back my chair into the big "B" causing some rather spectacular damage to the superstructure. I am unbelievably pissed off at myself that I could be so stupid.
Cheers for now, need a cooling off period,
Julian

Thanks Warren,
Can't even kick the dog or the kids
So bloody stupid of myself. I think I can fix it though
Think I'll take up the hint on a drop of the hard stuff and see tomorrow what miracles I can perform.
Cheers Mate,
Julian

You're not alone Julian, when it comes to inflicting 'battle damage' during, or after, a build, I'm my own worst enemy. Al

Thanks Al,
I have completely trashed one of the bridge wings and one radar antenna along with some collateral damage.
Back to the drawing board.
Cheers,
Julian

If you can wait a little bit I should at least have a spare set of wings when/if I ever get the stuff I have ordered.
Cheers

I not as helping. But Im to the order!!

It was a bloody weekend!! I went to prove the engines of the S-100 and end up by lighting fire the engines!!! It looked like a dead Vikingo!!! Jajajja So that this in folio zero again!!!! Jejejeje Regret not having photos to laugh awhile

Working on it Russell,
Luckily the superstructure isn't glued together yet so I have seperate modules. Also having bought two additional sets of PE I have a selection of bridge wings and 5 radar scanners left spare. I think I can pull out of this with minimal lasting damage to the build.
Cheers mate and thanks,
Julian

No, not giving up Daniel, think I can solve this. Looking at your S-100 engineroom: I think the captain said "fire the engineer", not "Burn the engineer"
Mrs. Moscatelli must have been very pleased with you

Julian

Nice one Warren,
I downloaded the instruction sheets, (forget where actually ). The Pontos set has some very interesting differences to the Mk.1 set. Be nice to see the differences when building.
cheers,
Julian

Should be back underway with the build quite soon. Damage control is working out nicely.

After backing my chair into the bridge I have also managed to drop the Admirals bridge section and a hangar. The positive part is that I have now restored the big "B" to her pre-accident look and am back underway again. I'll try and get some photos up this week.
cheers,
Julian

Good to hear Julian.
I was going through my stash of PE stuff from LionRoar and Flyhawk yesterday and am not sure when my Bismarck will see the light of day.
The problem with having a big stash I am afraid.
Cheers

Thanks mate,
I am at the moment waiting for my Griffon/Vosper PE to leave Beijing airport, ( the wonders of mail tracking). I am extremely curious how this rather gorgeous looking set of PE will be in reality,
Cheers,
Julian
