  The 'unsightly seam' on the crane is easy to get rid of mate. Just fill it with the Krystal Klear or Humbrol Window maker stuff. When you have it levelled out just paint it. Seam gone. You could also use the Gunze Mr Primer 500.

Imaging Night of the Pom Poms, or Revenge of the Boats in 1/200 scale..
