Well I got company and then I got more company but everyone gone now so I’m getting started on the hornet as I wait for a pizza.
I can’t guarantee she’ll be finished on time but I sure as heck will try.

I made it!
Well it wasn’t easy and I didn’t think I would get it done in time but here it is.


The USS Hornet at the Battle of Midway in about 1/500 scale.
Its been a lot of fun.

i put them in the finished gallery straight after posting this.
Great piece of work there Phil, congratulations! I hope mine looks half as good when she's finished. Just one thing I noticed, hope you don't mind - you've left her anchors off...
yeah i know! it was late on when i took the pics and the batteries on my camera were dying on me........ plus i also forgot to put the little set of oars on the boats on the davits and i should have put in another couple of runs of catwalks!
