JMSDF Destroyer Akizuki DD-115 (1:350)
Pit-Road of Japan has announced the February 2016 release of PITHMG-04, a 1/350 version of the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force destroyer Akizuki.
In development, a 'Detail-Up' set for the Fujimi 1/350 Kaga aircraft carrier kit. Images here are from the Tertra Models Works' facebook page and depict initial designs.
Coming - IJN Mutsuki PE Set (1:700)
In the works, a new PE set for Pit-Road's 1/700 Mutsuki class destroyer. Tetra Model Works has posted images of this set mounted the model on their facebook page.
I originally posted this in Model Geek but I believe it can be apt for here as well. The latest from Masterpiece Models is a large kit of the submarine Nautilus from Jules Verne's 19th century novel, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This kit is in the Disney 1954 film style rendition of Captain Nemo's vessel.
Big Mo' was commissioned in June 1944, was the stage for the surrender ceremony for the Pacific War and conclusion of World War II, fought in the Korean War and Desert Storm. This new Detail Up Set is for the Tamiya kit (No 78029) representing the Missouri in her Desert Storm service.
New Photo Etch Super Sets from Artist Hobby for two WWII Vessels. The Akitsushima is an IJN seaplane tender and is available as a kit from Pit-Road (No. W50) and everybody's favorite George (the V that is) also get's a set meant for the Tamiya kit (No. 77525).

The US Navy's newest destroyer, the USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) has left its berth at Bath, Maine and begins her sea trials. She's due to enter service next year. At 600 feet in length, almost a full 100 feet longer than the Arleigh Burke class, she's the largest destroyer the US Navy has ever launched.

HMS Aurora - 1945 (1:700)
HMS Aurora was an Arethusa-class light cruiser of the Royal Navy that served throughout the entire conflict of WWII and is the subject of Flyhawk's latest RN vessel. This injected plastic kit has all the hallmarks of Flyhawk's previous releases of fine molding and PE detail.

MicroAce of Japan has announced a restock of ARI93381, a 1/600 version of the iconic USN aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65).

January - New Destroyer Kits (1:700)
A release time of early January is expected for IBG Model's first ship kits of the Hunt II Class Destroyers - ORP Ślązak (No 70001) and ORP Kujawiak (No 70002) . IBG has provided us with box art for the new kits.
For Revell's Type IXC/40 U-boat (No 05133), extensive PE detailing for decking, conning tower and more. Many of these parts can be used on both the Type IX and Type IXC/40 kit.

Italeri has re-issues their 1/720 kit of the Kriegsmarine 'Pocket Battleship', Graf Spee. She was commissioned in 1936 and originally called 'Panzerschiff' - armored ship - armed with 11" guns in two triple turrets and designed to out run what she couldn't out fight.

WWII German Torpedoes (1:72)
For November, Special Hobby is planning on offering from CMK kits, two torpedoes used by the Kriegsmarine at the start of the Second World War -the G7a and G7e.
Hasegawa is issuing upgraded versions of their Myoko class cruisers Myoko and Nachi for the new year. These kits appear to have refined detail added and are now full hull kits.

If your a fan of IJN destroyers then here's something for you. Two new 'detail up' sets for the Pit-Road Shimakaze and Yamashita Hobby Fubuki destroyer kits.
Ages of Sail have been into the business of selling wooden ship kits, models, tools, books and accessories for past 5 years. Recently, Ages of Sail have added Dusek Kits into their inventory.
The latest pictorial (Number 43) from CWP is for the Alaska Class cruisers. 6 were planned but only two of these vessels were built.
