A lot of WWII carrier modelers were very pleased with Tamiya's waterline CV-3 Saratoga release last year. Now for this year a limited edition kit of 'Sister Sara 'with PE detail is coming this July.
On on the heals on the announcment to Revell's Gato return, RC Subs releases their latest in PE decking for the kit. This time it's the 1944 version with a single boat locker.
Following a few whispers and rumors on various forums, I've found that Revell plans to re-release it's big Gato-class World War II US submarine again late this September! If you've wanted this kit and never got hold of it or wanted to make another, your chance is coming!
Pit-Road (Skywave) of Japan has has announced the July 2015 release of kit PITJB-10S, a full-hull version of the modern (1980s) diesel-electric Japanese Marine Self Defense Force submarine Yushio in 1/350 scale.

Airfix has has announced the June 2015 release of kit A50164, a full-hull version of the RMS Titanic in 1/700 scale.
The QF 12 pounder 12 gun was a common, versatile 3-inch (76 mm) calibre naval gun introduced in 1894 and used until the middle of the 20th century. It was produced by Armstrong Whitworth, Elswick and used on Royal Navy warships, and exported to allied countries. AJM Models has recently released a 1/350 kit of this gun.
IJN 50.Type 3 20cm Cannon (1:700)
New from Adler's Nest, brass barrels for the Imperial Japanese Navy's Type 3 20cm cannon. These guns formed the main battery of Japan's World War II heavy cruisers.
I came across an fascinating website recently entitled, Armoured Aircraft Carriers in World War II which tells, “the untold story of the Royal Navy's struggle to invent carrier warfare.”
Aoshima of Japan has has announced the June 2015 release of kit AOS08379, a set of “Deformation Combined Fleet” full-hull Imperial Japanese Navy ships.
Just when you thought there weren't enough post WWII carrier kits, hot on the heels of Merit International's JFK CV-67 announcement Trumpeter announces a kit of the Kitty Hawk (CV-63). Time will tell if there will be any differences between the kits.

Pit-Road (SkyWave) of Japan has has announced the June 2015 release of kit PITW-175, a full-hull version of the Imperial Japanese Navy destroyer Kamikaze (“Divine Wind”) in 1/700 scale. The kit will also include two Kairyu (“Sea Dragon”) midget submaries.
Last December we said the Zvezda Marat kit was on its way. Now we have a release date and price.

Fregatte Augsburg F222 Typ 120 (1:700)
The F120 Köln class of frigates were the first warships to be produced by Germany after the Second World War. The Frigate were 360 feet in length and topped out at just shy of 2800 tons.
Update: H Class Destroyer Kit (1:700)
First reported in March as coming from Niko Model, a 1/700 waterline kit of an H-class destroyer under the name HMS Hardy. This kit is to released in the coming weeks and Niko has more images of the kit and its instruction.
Coming this July from Osprey, a look at the navy of one of the Central Powers that's not often considered when talking about WWI naval warfare. While not on par with the Royal Navy or the Kaiserliche Marine, the Donanma-yı Humâyûn dated back to the 14th century.
IJN Kirishima - 1942 (1:350)
Aoshima is releasing an updated version of their kit of the IJN battleship Kirishima. A Kongo class battleship, Kirishima began life classified as a battlecruiser and became a 'fast battleship' after several refits in her 37 year service life.
New for the Fujimi Yamato model (No. FUJIMI46000), big enhancements for this little kit. Two sets - a wooden deck and PE details.
Combrig's latest battleship kit is a 'never-built' class vessel planned by the Soviet Navy. If built, they would have rivaled the Imperial Japanese Navy's Yamato. Four keels were laid down but never completed.
Early War Gato Decks in PE (1:72)
Coming from RC Subs, Gato class submarine wood decks circa 1942, replicated in PE for the Revell kit (No. 05047). The kits out of box is patterned after the museum boat USS Cobia as she looked later in the war with steel decks.
This just in from Peter Hall's Atlantic Models. HMS Upton was a member of the 'Ton' class of minesweepers belonging to the Royal Navy from the mid 1950's through to the 1980s.

Round 2, under the Lindberg label, has announced the May 2015 re-release of two Pyro Plastics USN warships in 1/1200 scale.
Coming for the end of this month a new 1/350 Kaga. After releasing an early 3-flight deck Kaga in 1/700, Fujimi is rolling out a kit of the aircraft carrier's final appearance in the bigger scale.

Train Troll is operated by Andy Small in Westerly, Road Island and specializes in narrow gage railroad products and model ships. Their ship kits are steam era ships from the period of the 1890's till the 1920's. Original designs, they are based on prototypical naval architecture of the time and are typical of coastal and tramp steamers that plied the world's oceans and bays.

Two new WWII Imperial Japanese submarine kits are coming this spring from Aoshima. The first is the KD6 type submarine I-168 and they other the C-3 cargo type, I-52.
Decking for Revell's Gato (1:72)
There's been a lot of aftermarket sets made for Revell's big U-boats and now RC Sub's latest is PE decking for the Revell 1/72 Gato kit (No. 05047). The Revell Gato was based off the USS Cobia, moored by the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, as she is today in late/post war decking.
