The anticipated release date for this kit is June 2009.

The suggested retail price at this stage is $US109.95

Building upon its ever expanding range of model ships Trumpeter has announced the upcoming release of the 1/700 HMS Eskimo (F75) British Tribal Class Destroyer 1941. The anticipated release date for this kit is January 2009 and the suggested retail price at this stage is $US22.95

Continually building upon its ever expanding range of 1/350th model ships Trumpeter has announced the upcoming release of the 1/350 Admiral Chabanenko Russian Udaloy II Class Destroyer. The anticipated release date for this kit is January next year and the suggested retail price at this stage is $US89.95

Building upon its ever expanding range of plastic kit sets, Trumpeter have announced the release of their 1/144 Type XXIII U-Boat . The anticipated release date for this kit is January 2009 and the suggested retail price at this stage is $US 22.95

Trumpeter have announced the released of their1/350th USS Lassen DDG-82 . The USS Lassen is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer currently in service with the United States Navy. This kitset is to contain 487 parts and is to be 443.7 mm in length. There is no release date or retail price available at present.

Continuing to push the envelope with new releases, Trumpter announces the latest 1/700 release, the French Navy Battleship Richelieu, 1946. This kit is of the final variant of this famous French battleship as she returned post-war to Toulon, France on Feb 11, 1946. The kit consists of 366 parts on 10 sprues plus lower and upper hulls, waterline plate and display stand. The completed kit measures nearly 14” long. Retail price will be $38.95.

Expanding on our earlier report of this subject, Trumpeter Models sends us more details on one of their early summer releases for 2008, with the 100% newly tooled French Battleship Richelieu!

Trumpeter Models has been setting the model ship world on fire since the release of their 1/350 USS Hornet CV-8. After the Hornet, Trumpeter gave us enough 1/350 Essex class carriers to build the entire Task Force 38/58. They continued to surprise us with the North Carolina and the Hood and their wonderful selection 1/700 kits. Today, they continue their blockbuster releases with the upcoming 1/350 French Battleship Richelieu and 1/350 HMS Repulse along with a squadron of 1/700 US cruisers.

NEWS just in from Trumpeter Models, a few more details of the much awaited 1/700 USS San Francisco, and a new brass photo-etch set planned for an April '08 release.

Continuing their partnership with Pit-Road, Trumpeter Models introduces their 1/700 USS New Orleans in its 1942 fit. This kit will feature the option of modeling either a full hull or waterline version of the cruiser. Another nice feature that Trumpeter has started is the inclusion of the main armament barrels molded with the blast bags. This looks to be another fine kit from Trumpeter.
